Dr Simon J Feeney (Chinese Medicine Physician) Bio

From a very early age, Simon Feeney always had a longing to help people. He commenced his journey towards healing and medicine as a teenager under the guidance of a Buddhist monk. While undertaking his tertiary studies to become a Chinese Medicine practitioner, Simon realised he would have a lifelong passion in the use of herbal medicines and a fascination for unlocking traditional herbal formulas. 

His knowledge as an herbalist came from spending endless hours working through ancient texts identifying doses of various herbs, deciphering and translating those that were successfully used centuries ago, yet have been largely lost in modern times

With growing prominence after many years of supplying herbal formulas to Chinese Medicine physicians, Simon was approached by a number of veterinarians to develop and supply herbal formulas for them to use in their clinics.

Simon’s reputation has since grown in this industry and he now supports numerous veterinary clinics throughout Australia. 

As a response to increasing demand, Simon created the Herbal Creatures™ formula range to assists vets integrate modern medicine with a holistic approach to health care and to use a modern application of ancient traditional formulas for animals, large and small.

Driven by a passion for seeing better results for his own patients, Simon has spent decade scaling the planet in search of premium quality herbs and has now partnered with highly reputable suppliers around the world to secure their use in all Herbal Creatures products.

Together with his team, Simon pioneered a new level of quality assurance testing called 'Three Tier Testing'. All the herbs used in Herbal Creatures products are independently tested for safety and quality to the highest standard in the world for this industry.

The same quality assured herbs used in the Herbal Creatures range are also the same as those Simon uses to create formulas for treating his human patients in his own clinic, Empirical Health.
